Welcome to Rekoo, a community-driven reading platform where users can explore and share literary content including text, images, and reading guides. Please read this User Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before using our services. By accessing or using Rekoo, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions described herein.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for, accessing, or using Rekoo, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be legally bound by this Agreement and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must discontinue use of the app immediately.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use Rekoo. By using this app, you represent and warrant that you meet the applicable age requirement and are capable of entering into a legally binding agreement.
3. Description of Services
Rekoo is a mobile and/or web-based application that provides a digital space for:
Users to share personal reading notes, images, and reflections.
Accessing curated reading guides published by the Rekoo team.
Engaging with a community through posts, comments, and content discovery.
All content may include user-generated content (UGC), official editorials, visual media, and hyperlinks.
4. User-Generated Content
You retain ownership of any content you post on Rekoo, including text, images, and comments. However, by submitting content, you grant Rekoo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the content in connection with the operation and promotion of the service.
You agree not to post any content that:
Infringes on any third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark, privacy).
Contains hate speech, threats, or discriminatory language.
Violates any laws or regulations.
Rekoo reserves the right to remove any content at its sole discretion.
5. Community Guidelines
To maintain a respectful and constructive environment, users agree to:
Respect other users’ opinions and original work.
Avoid spam, trolling, or off-topic content.
Report any harmful or inappropriate behavior via in-app reporting tools or email (rekooteam@outlook.com).
Violations of these guidelines may result in suspension or permanent ban.
6. Intellectual Property
All official reading guides, UI designs, and branding materials provided by Rekoo are the intellectual property of the Rekoo team and may not be reproduced without permission.
User-submitted content remains the property of its respective creator, but users grant Rekoo the rights described in Section 4.
7. Privacy and Data Use
By using Rekoo, you consent to our collection and use of your personal data as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We take reasonable measures to protect your data and will not sell or share it without your explicit consent unless required by law.
8. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time through the settings page or by contacting us at rekooteam@outlook.com.
Rekoo may suspend or terminate your access if:
You violate any term of this Agreement.
You engage in fraudulent or harmful behavior.
Required by law or regulatory authority.
9. Modifications to the Agreement
We reserve the right to update or modify this Agreement at any time. If changes are made, we will notify you via app notification or email. Continued use of Rekoo after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
Rekoo is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content posted on the platform.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rekoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the app.
12. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction where the Rekoo team is based, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
